Production: Magazine production 3

This part of my production includes all the compulsory elements of a magazine for example below the price which has now changed to £4.00, and Issue number and the date of the issue. Indie magazines are usually monthly releases so since the project would be finishing around this time I decided to set my issue date to a similar time.

Along with the rising star accolade I needed another cover line to accompany the advertising of the film but also introducing the actor/character. I came up with 'The boy who had nothing' which relates to both people. My actor is new so has come from nothing to stardom, and this statement also related to the character DAN since he had nothing going for him, apart from his talent.
For this to stand out against the white shirt I added a grey drop shadow which added a hint of depth to the text on top of the suit jacket, but allowed the white to still be readble on top of the shirt.

The next task was another font change. My cover lines and masthead were initially typed in the same font but this never occurs within real magazines. The cover lines fit really well with the first font so instead of trying to make them readable and position them all over again I decided to change the masthead to a very similar font but definitely different as it is more square in style and the spacing is further apart also making it fit across the top of my magazine a lot better than before. I also changed the font of the Television/Stage/Film to the cover line font and added a website link for the magazine also in the same font and aligned with the previous section.

I changed the colour of the introductory cover line keeping the main body of text in white and a lot smaller than the actor's name which stands out a lot more since it is now in black.
Another thing I have added is a drop shadow to my main image again to make him stand out off the page and to make the image look more realistic.
