After brainstorming ideas for a magazine masthead and receiving feedback on the preferred masthead font choice. I positioned 'Perspective' at the top of my magazine in the white space. I also wanted my magazine to include not just films, but television shows and stage performances to appeal to wider audience.
I chose Times New Roman for this small section as it looked sophisticated but this will most likely change as the production continues.
I slightly moved the positioning of my actor so his whole body sits off centre and his elbow is touching the frame and his head overlaps adding slight depth to the cover since it is completely black and white.
I added the compulsory barcode in the bottom left corner along with a price tag of £3.99
I wanted one stand out cover line basing around my actor and the rest of the magazine would be left open to mystery. So as my trailer is social realism, within the genre actors/actresses are usually young with strong potential. I carried this forward with my actor by describing him as "Perspective's rising star of 2016". The font is the same as my masthead since it is crisp and easy to read and nothing too over-powering, but the positioning needs to be fixed.
