Production: Film Poster Production 1

These are the two images I have chosen and to cut out the cream and uneven background I first of all used the magic wand tool to get rid of most of the background, this left an uneven edge around the photos especially the first image with the hood.
The easiest way to cut out the excess background around the hood was to use the smudge tool and grab the outer most points and drag inwards towards the head. The cream colour then blends with the brown on the fur so there is no obvious harsh line against the plain white background on my poster.

This second image was relatively easy to cut out since here is no uneven texture apart from his hair. The magic wand also doesn't recognise shadows so I had to carefully erase the left over shadows.

I then cropped both images to half-face figures and using mid shots from the chest up to display his two sides to his personality and showing his two different outfits.
