Originally we chose Pathe productions to add into our trailer as a production/distribution company that would collaborate with our production comapany to create our trailer. After putting all the neseccary scenes in we knew we needed to shorten the Pathe clip since it lasted fourteen seconds. Whilst doing this we watched the Submarine trailer and noticed they used a company called Weinstein so I did a little background research.
The Weinstein Company is a mini-major film studio that produces and distributes films around the globe. The company involves itself mainly with social-realism, drama and historical-biographical films, making it perfect to fit into our category.
So instead we replaced Pathe with Weinstein resulting also in a shorter clip.
